A home heating oil delivery usually starts with a phone call or online order, then the truck arrives within a few days. The driver will measure your tank, fill it from a hose, and leave a receipt. Expect a slight oil smell, some noise from the pump, and about 15-20 minutes on site. Payment is typically due at delivery unless you have credit.
