캘리포니아주내 청소기업은 2018년 6월8일부터 ‘프로퍼티서비스 노동자 보호법(Property Service Workers Protection Act)’에 의거해서 주 노동청에 등록을 해야 끝낸다. 등록 고객은 연구원 4명과 청소 용역 직원(janitor) 6명 이상을 고용한 기업으로 미등록시 등록하지 않은 시간 동안 하루에 100달러씩, 최대 4만 달러까지 벌금이 부과된다.
