Had to deal with attic rodent removal last month after hearing scratching at night. Found signs of mice nesting in the insulation near the eaves. A professional came in, sealed entry points along the roofline, and set traps. They also cleaned up droppings and replaced the chewed insulation. Took a couple of visits but the scratching stopped. Now I keep an eye out for gaps where pipes enter the attic.
